The chocolate you can buy in the supermarkets here is already better compared to what you can get in other countries. But after discovering a small chocolate store here in Lucerne, the city where I live, which sells brands like Beschle and Amedei, I was no longer able to even look at the Lindt chocolate packaging let alone eat a piece of it.

Hi Julian,
I love your blog. I'm Canadian and love chocolate. I too eat Lindt Chocolate. I was wondering if there is a better chocolate that you could recommend that I can buy here in Canada. Oh, by the way, I like Swiss Cheese. I love bht chocolate and cheese. I'm going to try you hot chocolate recipie tonight.
Thanks Julian

Hi Julian,
I was just checking your blog to see if you'd posted any new recipies. I tried the hot chocolate last night and it was the best, creamy, smooth, rich and delicious. The hottest thing in chocolate in Canada seems to be chocolate bacon, bacon dipped in chocolate or chocolate bars with bacon fat and bits of bacon in them. It sound horrid to me. I don't think I'll be trying it. Have you heard of this and what do you think?
Your Canadian fan,

Haha, thank you Cathy.
The bacon chocolate recipe just doesn't sound right to me! But I'm glad you liked your hot chocolate.
I think I will be posting new recipes and trying them myself of course now that I know people seem to like that.
Thanks, Julian
